Job Summary

Fierce Staffing is hiring polished, dependable, and detail-oriented Event Staff to support XPONENTIAL 2026 at Huntington Place in Detroit. XPONENTIAL is a major conference and exhibition focused on autonomy, robotics, and uncrewed systems, bringing together industry leaders, innovators, end users, and decision-makers in a high-visibility professional environment.

This is a multi-day conference assignment that requires team members who can support registration, attendee check-in, wayfinding, and guest assistance while maintaining a professional and composed presence in a busy event setting.

This role requires full commitment across all event days and adherence to strict attendance and professionalism standards.

Attire:

• Black Collar Shirt
• Black Pants ( No Rips or Tears)
• Black Shoes
• All staff must maintain a clean, polished, and professional appearance throughout the assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with conference preparation tasks before attendees arrive, including organizing materials, assembling supplies, stuffing totes, and preparing badges
• Support registration and check-in operations with accuracy, professionalism, and efficiency
• Welcome attendees and provide clear wayfinding support throughout the venue
• Direct guests to meeting rooms, session spaces, and conference areas as needed
• Maintain a polished, professional, and service-oriented presence in all guest interactions
• Communicate clearly with onsite leadership and escalate questions or issues appropriately
• Support a smooth event experience by remaining flexible, attentive, and detail-focused throughout the assignment

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in event staffing, conference support, hospitality, registration, or guest services preferred
• Strong communication and customer service skills required
• Detail-oriented and comfortable handling materials, badges, and attendee-facing support tasks
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced professional conference environment
• Able to follow direction and maintain a high standard of professionalism throughout the event
• Comfortable standing, walking, and working active shifts over multiple days
